Back to School

Welcome to Stony Point South for the 23-24 academic year!  There's a lot to know and do to get ready to come back, so read on to make sure you've got it all taken care of before the first day of school.  First day of school - Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at 8:30 AM!

To be ready for school, make sure you have:

  • Go into Infinite Campus through your Parent Portal and make sure you have filled out:
    • The Home Economic Survey (breakfast and lunch are free, but we need this information for the state for funding)
    • Re-register for school (call us at 627-4600 if you need help or need your password reset)

If you are new to our district, please visit our Welcome Center at Central Office, located at 2010 N. 59th Street, Kansas City, KS, if you need assistance with procuring the required documents for a new enrollment.  Once you have the documents, you can fax them to our Stony Point South office before the first day of school (fax number is: (913) 627-4626), or you may drop them off at Stony Point South school between the hours of 8 AM - 4 PM. You also have the option to upload these documents during enrollment. However, once enrolled, you are not able to go back in and upload the documents.  Please be aware that Kindergarten students may already be registered. They do not need to register twice if parents have already submitted their application.

Documents needed for a new registration:

  • Birth Certificate
  • Immunizations
  • Proof of address
  • Transcripts for new students
  • Physicals for students 9 and younger

Approved address documents for proof of residency:

  • Current Lease/Rental Agreement
  • Mortgage/Deed
